  • Author keeps pointing out the rain to set the mood of having tea and a both side nervous situation

  • I wonder if Gatsby always waited till dark to see Daisy’s green like light on her dock

CUE THEME MUSIC

        I think the central message of the book is, Gatsby trying to re-live a memory or a feeling that's already dead for the other person. "Money won't buy you loyalty nor friends," is a big thing that happens in this book as it shows how Gatsby had may friends, lots of wealth, but at the end he rested alone with only 2 people whom mourned his death.
